+++ Update: In Berlin, as of February 13, 2023, there are no specific Berlin coronavirus measures in place, as the Berlin Corona Ordinance has been lifted. In the event of illness, it is recommended to get tested for a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection, you can call us to get a homevisit eg to your hotel. If tested positive, one should avoid contact with others and, if unavoidable, wear an FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve.

Corona in Berlin 2024

Since March 1, 2023, coronavirus tests for citizens are generally chargeable, and there is no longer a statutory mask mandate, although facilities can request mask-wearing within their rights. The testing requirement in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as the general testing requirement, were also lifted on March 1, 2023.

Vaccinations remain a central part of pandemic control. The coronavirus vaccinations are free of charge and are recommended to protect oneself and others. The Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO) recommends vaccination for individuals over 18 years of age with incomplete basic immunity and for specific groups such as children from 6 months and adolescents with underlying diseases, as well as pregnant women from the second trimester.

Further booster vaccinations are recommended for individuals over 60 years of age, those with underlying diseases, residents of nursing facilities, medical professionals, and close contacts of immunocompromised individuals. The current COVID-19 indicators and evaluations can be viewed on the website of the Berlin Health Administration.

Home visits also for Corona patients in home quarantine.

All our on-call physicians also examine and treat patients suffering from SARS-CoV-2 in quarantine at home. Often the question arises whether a transfer to a hospital makes sense, here our doctors can give a well-founded second opinion if necessary. In most cases, the infection can be overcome well at home. A home visit by one of our doctors can be a good support.

For scheduled home visits, the easiest way is to use our online form if a home visit is desired today please contact our switchboard.
